Pricing FAQ
Why subscription instead of one-time payment?
Daily Tools is a living service. Subscription revenue can fund hosting, security work, bug fixes, feature development and support over time instead of making the economics depend on a one-time sale.
What if I only need one or two tools?
That is completely fine. Daily Tools is a multi-function package, but a user does not need to use every feature. The recommended approach is to start with the minimum plan that matches who needs access, then configure the experience around only the tools that matter. Personal is the starting plan for one person; Family is appropriate when family/supporter collaboration is needed. We do not currently recommend separate subscriptions for every individual tool.
Can I hide tools I do not use?
The product strategy is a focused experience: unused tools can be turned off or kept out of the person's everyday navigation where supported by the product settings. This lets someone use Daily Tools primarily as a routine, money, planning, schedule or other focused solution without being overwhelmed by the rest of the package. Feature visibility may vary by tool and account role.
How do I actually pay?
Choosing a plan takes you to the Daily Tools sign-in page, then to Stripe’s secure checkout, so your purchase is tied to your account from the start. The pricing page is currently wired to Stripe Sandbox (test) checkout while we test the purchase flow; production will switch to Stripe Live mode with no change to this flow.
Can an invited professional supporter use Daily Tools without a separate subscription?
Yes. An invited supporter may participate in an authorized Daily Tools relationship without purchasing a separate subscription for that relationship. Access is controlled by the applicable sharing and permission features; having a professional account never automatically grants access to another person’s private information.
